Itage TV, a 24-hour premium Yoruba lifestyle channel, is seeking highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities that drive growth and revenue for the channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth and revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with the channel’s vision and mission
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers, agencies, and sponsors
Develop and deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations to potential clients and partners
Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Collaborate with other departments, including programming, marketing, and production, to ensure the successful delivery of business solutions to clients
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of the Yoruba language and culture is an added advantage
